The painting series Life Inside a Room emerged from a period of personal upheaval, during which I decided to leave my homeland for an extended period of time and live in another country. Leaving was not merely a move from one geographical place to another, but also an emotional and physical journey. I found myself facing a new reality in which everything happening around me affected both my body and my mind. Inside the room, far from the place I knew, I began to observe myself and the changes I was going through. My body became a reflection of my emotional state, and painting became a way to document the feelings, fears, loneliness, and uncertainty that accompanied me.
